Program Leaders
The Covenant Experience for Convalidations has been approved by the Archdiocese and is comprised of a five-couple team.

Led by Dan and Lynne Brown (of St. Louis parish), this program fulfills the Instructional phase of the Marriage Preparation Guidelines for Convalidation.
The Family Enrichment Center now has a sacramental preparation program designed specifically for couples in your parish seeking convalidation of their civil marriages.

Entitled The Covenant Experience for Convalidations, it has been adapted from the highly successful Covenant Experience Weekend, and is available to all couples seeking convalidation of their existing marriages.

This program helps couples honestly examine their marriages as they move toward the date of convalidation. By applying practical techniques, listening to the experiences of team members and taking part in reflective exercises, the participants will find hope, strength and new enthusiasm for their relationships. Particular emphasis is given to the meaning of the covenant and the blessings of the Sacrament of Marriage.

Program Format
This is a "sleep-at-home" event, beginning on Friday evening from 7:00PM to 10:00PM and resuming on Saturday from 8:30AM until 5:00PM.
This is an Archdiocese program. Married couples who wish to attend this event must register by calling the Family Enrichment office at:

Dan and Lynne Brown have been married for 20 years and have three children. Their marriage was convalidated on the sixth anniversary of their civil marriage.
